The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced General Manager Marketing and Communications to be a key member of our Leadership Team for a 12 month paternity contract. This role will play a key part in managing and implementing internal and external marketing and communications strategies for the organisation, driving demand and enquiry across B2c, B2B and B2G channels as well as day to day service delivery across multiple brands.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on leadership role requiring you to bring your A game with stakeholder engagement and strategic influence with commitment to quality to add value to all AKG services and programs.

Lead and coach an experienced and stable team of Marketing and Communications professionals and Partnership Managers to support the business in key services and programs
Develop strategic marketing plans and execute strategy across the business
Highly organised with the ability to quickly execute the agreed strategy to ensure timely delivery of support materials and campaigns
Strong capabilities in project management including the ability to plan and coordinate the development of products or projects to meet targets
Well-developed interpersonal skills in consulting and advising a variety of stakeholders with a diplomatic and professional approach
Advanced communication written and verbal presentations skills
Provide high level strategic media and communications advice and briefings across the organisation, including issues management
Tertiary qualifications or higher in communications, journalism, PR, marketing or equivalent
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles; SEO, SEM, Lead Generation, Social Media and CRM platforms
Experience within our MarTech stack such as Wordpress, Marketo, BetterProposals, Google My Business and Ad platforms, Meta Business, Templafy (would be beneficial)
Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check and MyID.
