Job Description

  • 1. Strategy & P&L: Define and execute the plan (sales, margin, CAPEX/OPEX).
  • 2. Go-to-Market: Build channels in Oil & Gas, Mining, WWTP; manage key accounts and OEM/EPC relationships.
  • 3. Operational Excellence: Reduce lead times via inventory planning, forwarders, customs brokers, and S&OP.
  • 4. Leadership: Manage a compact team (~20 FTEs), foster accountability and customer‑centric purpose.
  • 5. CAPEX Governance: Oversee the investment portfolio with ROI and stage‑gates.
  • 6. External Relations & Compliance: Manage OEM/EPC/distributor relationships and regulatory compliance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director General México should have:

  • Education: Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial). MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 12‑15+ years in pumps/rotating equipment; 5+ years leading P&L/business unit.
  • Priority sectors: Oil & Gas, Mining, WWTP.
  • Skills: Technical‑commercial, strategic execution, operational improvement, key account management, English advanced.
  • Success Indicators (12‑24 months): Sales growth to 9.5MM USD by 2023; lead time reduction by 30‑40%; CRM adoption and forecast accuracy ≥85%.
