Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing, production planning, supply chain, and logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace, aviation, and defense standards (AS9100, DO-160, FAA/EASA, etc.).
  • Supervising and coordinating with all stakeholders - customers, vendors, certification authority, quality assurance agencies for timely execution of delivery activities
  • Drive operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams: production, quality, engineering support, and procurement.
  • Optimize resource allocation, production schedules, and cost structures.
  • Oversee vendor management, materials planning, and inventory control.
  • Maintain strict quality assurance and reliability requirements for avionics products.
  • Coordinate with R&D, engineering, and program management for new product introduction (NPI) and support operations through various stages of certification and qualification leading upto PPAP and FAI (First article inspection).
  • Ensure workplace safety, EHS compliance, and robust risk mitigation.
  • Track performance metrics (OTD, yield, throughput, cost, quality) and deliver improvements.
  • Support customer audits, regulatory audits, and certification processes.
  • Lead operational strategy, capacity planning, and technology upgrades.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of operations leadership in aerospace, avionics, or high-reliability electronics.
  • Strong experience with AS9100, aerospace program execution, and manufacturing scale-up.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams and complex production environments.
  • Expertise in lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven operations management.
