Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager - Projects located in Bhopal, India. The General Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. Responsibilities include managing resources, expediting processes, inspections, and ensuring effective project management and implementation alongside ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, approved scope, timelines. The role requires to undertake periodic and ad-hoc visits to project sites to monitor execution, verify conformance with approved designs, drawings, specifications, and contractual provisions. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.

• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to the team’s performance in client satisfaction
• Contribute to knowledge sharing in internal and external forums, including technical input to your team

Qualifications/ Pre - Requisites

• B.Tech or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in planning, and project execution.
• 7+ years proven experience in contracts in a similar sector role.
• Strong expertise in Project Management to effectively plan, execute, and supervise projects
• Inspection skills with a focus on quality control and compliance
• Proven leadership and communication skills to lead diverse teams and foster collaboration
• Deep understanding of infrastructure contracts, EPC/PPP frameworks, and consultancy TORs.
• To possess a comprehensive understanding of engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports, and to provide strategic oversight on their implementation during project delivery and execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
