Our client is a fast-growing regional platform managing a diversified portfolio of retail and real estate assets across Asia. We are conducting a confidential search for a General Manager to lead the Singapore business — driving commercial growth, operational excellence, and superior customer experience across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate is a highly strategic, performance-driven leader with strong business acumen and a proven record in managing large-scale, customer‑centric operations. You must be adept at leading cross-functional teams, leveraging data to guide decisions, and delivering measurable business results in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee P&L ownership and overall business performance across Singapore operations.
  • Lead multi‑site and multi‑store management, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive commercial growth, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor KPIs, identify improvement areas, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Lead and inspire cross‑functional teams across operations, sales, marketing, finance, and HR, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Drive a customer‑centric culture that enhances brand reputation and service delivery.
  • Partner with regional leadership to align Singapore operations with group strategy and expansion plans.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, financial discipline, and local regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA would be a plus.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in senior operations or general management roles within retail, F&B, hospitality, or real estate sectors.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and multi‑site operations with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong business acumen, commercial mindset, and ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Data‑driven leadership style with experience managing KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Regional exposure and experience in cross‑border operations is a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other Asian languages advantageous.
