About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned General Manager – SCM to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for large-scale Solar Projects . The role demands strong expertise in procurement, vendor management, logistics, and strategic sourcing, with deep knowledge of the Indian solar market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complete supply chain operations for solar EPC/projects
• Strategic sourcing and procurement of solar modules, inverters, BOS, structures, etc.
• Vendor development, evaluation, negotiation, and long-term relationship management
• Cost optimization, contract management, and risk mitigation
• Inventory planning, logistics coordination, and on-time material availability
• Market intelligence on solar supply trends, pricing, and supplier landscape
• Cross-functional coordination with Projects, Engineering, Finance, and Quality teams
• Willingness to travel across project locations as required

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement
• Mandatory experience in Solar Projects / Renewable Energy sector
• Strong exposure to EPC/project-based SCM operations
• Excellent vendor negotiation and contract management skills
• Agile, proactive, and solution-oriented leadership mindset
• Strong understanding of Indian solar market dynamics
• Ability to work in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments

Qualification

• Engineering / MBA / equivalent professional qualification preferred
