General Manager Supply Chain

Hiring: GM – Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a visionary GM – Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end operations for our manufacturing unit in Mumbai . This senior leadership role is responsible for defining the SCM strategy across procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics to support business growth.

The Role

• Strategic Leadership: Define and oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including international procurement, vendor development, and digital transformation.
• Planning & Inventory: Lead demand forecasting and supply planning to optimize material flow and working capital.
• Operations & Logistics: Manage inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing efficiency (FIFO, safety), and 3rd-party provider performance.
• Cost & Performance: Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and monitor key KPIs like OTDIF and inventory turns.
• Risk & Compliance: Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure compliance with trade laws and safety standards.

Requirements

• Experience: 15–20+ years in manufacturing SCM/Procurement/Logistics, with 5–10 years in senior leadership from Electrical & Electronic Manufacturing industry.
• Expertise: Deep experience in International Procurement (Plastics preferred) , production planning, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering; an MBA or Post-Graduate degree is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and strong analytical/negotiation skills.
