JMC HR Consulting is pleased to partner with Chéticamp Co-op in the search for their next General Manager , a senior leadership role overseeing the overall performance, sustainability, and day-to-day operations of one of Cape Breton’s most established and community-rooted co-operatives.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, this fully on-site position requires a visible, steady presence and close collaboration with store managers and staff to ensure operational excellence while advancing longer-term strategic priorities. The role offers meaningful Board engagement, strong influence across the organization and community, and transition support through overlap with interim leadership. Relocation support, including potential housing assistance, may be available for the right candidate.
