General Practitioner

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Altcourse, a Category B mens prison and Young Offenders Institution based in Fazakerley area of Liverpool in Merseyside. Ideal applicants would be experienced General Practitioners who have previous experience prescribing for and supporting patients with substance misuse needs. HMP Altcourse is a fast-paced environment; you will be working closely with a full multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care. Hours: Tuesdays 8am-9pm. This position is part time, working 3 sessions or 12 hours per week. Salary: Our General Practitioners are valued and well respected members of the Prison Healthcare community.
