Job Description

Responsibilities

The primary duties for this position are to operate equipment within established guidelines for efficiency, safety, product quality, food safety and customer service. The equipment will include batching, pelleting, and packing equipment and other equipment unique to a plant. This position is also called upon to assist in other areas of plant operations as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pelleting and mixing experience
  • Committed to work in a safe manner
  • Be able to read and follow procedures
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Operate a forklift
  • Good computer and math skills

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
  • Work in natural climate conditions
  • Climb ladders, stairs and be physically active throughout the shift
