Overview

A Metropolitan ACT hospital requires a Junior Medical Officer in Surgery from 02/02/2026 to 01/03/2026.

Shifts

  • SURGICAL / ORTHO 0645 - 1615 (Day Shift, 9 hours + 30 minute break)
  • ACACIA Day Shift 0800 - 1630 (8 hours + 30 minute break)
  • SURG EVENING 1300 - 2130 (8 hours + 30 minute break)
  • WEEKEND SURGICAL SHIFTS 0730 - 2130 (13 hours + 2 x 30 minute breaks)
  • 0800 - 1300 + SR (5 hours) / 0800 - 1300 + SR Activated (12.5 hours + 2 x 30 minute breaks)
  • NIGHT 2100 - 0800 (10.5 hours + 30 minute break)

Post nights off: roster days off following night shift(s).

  • Sick relief; paid on-call, recall rates applied if called outside of original rostered hours, including afternoons and nights.

If you are required to work both the Saturday and Sunday, you are not expected to work the Monday.
