The Role
NHS Lanarkshire Cancer Nursing Service are seeking applications for highly motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic registered nurses to join their Breast Care Specialist Nursing Team. Experienced registered nurses who are committed to providing quality evidence based cancer care with a personal commitment to life long learning aligned to the NES NMAHP framework and ACCEND, are welcomed to apply.
The role of the Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist is highly specialised these positions provide cancer service across NHS Lanarkshire which comprises of three district general hospitals providing comprehensive person centred cancer care. Coordination of the complex care needs of breast cancer patients across all stages of the patient's pathway from diagnosis through treatment and follow up or end of life care, are key components of the posts. Organisational, time management and excellent communication skills are required.
