Genomics Technician

Puregene is an innovation-driven hemp breeding company developing next-generation varieties for global markets. As we expand our research and commercial programs, we're looking for a Genomics Technician to strengthen our high-throughput genotyping pipeline.

What you'll do

• Extract and quantify DNA from high sample volumes

• Run qPCR-based genotyping assays (HRM, KASP)

• Execute AgriSeq / Ion Torrent genotyping-by-sequencing workflows

• Operate and maintain pipetting robots (e.g., PIPETMAX) and other lab instruments

• Track samples with precision, generate reports, and support troubleshooting

• Work closely with our Genomics Scientist to ensure smooth pipeline execution

What you bring

• Ausbildung as Lab Technician (EFZ Biologie) or BSc/MSc in Biology

• Strong molecular biology skills: DNA prep, PCR, qPCR

• Experience with automated or high-throughput workflows is a plus ...
