Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise geotechnical and geological investigations for projects.
  • Conduct subsurface investigations, soil and rock classification, and groundwater assessment.
  • Review and interpret borehole logs, lab test results, and geophysical survey data.
  • Prepare geological and geotechnical reports, site investigation summaries, and recommendations for design and construction teams.
  • Liaise with design, structural, and execution teams for foundation design and site-related technical support.
  • Identify geological risks (e.g., slope stability, seismic hazards, subsidence, etc.) and suggest appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, BIS standards, and internal quality norms.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, laboratories, and contractors for field and lab investigations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and development of internal databases for soil and rock properties.
