Objectives of this role
Team building and competence in Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics domainMaintain constant communication with managers, staff, and Customer representatives to ensure proper operationsDevelop, implement, and maintain Geoscience quality assurance protocols for deliverablesIncrease the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the team’s internal capacityEnsure that operational activities remain on time and within budgetTrack staffing requirements, hiring new employees as neededOversee invoicing and time writing activities for team size of 150 members.Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment,Engage with the team in necessary career development plans and problem resolutionManage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer servicePartner with cross-functional customer teams to improve performanceConduct budget reviews and report cost plans to managementRequired skills and qualifications
12-15 years of proven success in an Geoscience operations management roleStrong skills in resource management and oversightExcellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer work delivery.Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processesKnowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applicationsCandidates with Only Mud Logging experience would not be preferred.
