Geotechnical Engineer role at Arup . The position offers the opportunity to join a team working on geotechnical engineering across a range of projects, from building design to infrastructure. Location: Birmingham or Nottingham city centre offices.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and characterise the ground and develop and supervise ground investigations.
• Undertake geotechnical analysis to develop solutions to complex geotechnical challenges.
• Design geotechnical works and provide construction support for both building and infrastructure projects, including shallow and deep foundations, gravity/embedded retaining walls, ground improvement, underground structures, and earthworks, and prepare geotechnical design reports and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
