Our client, a leading engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to join their team in the Vancouver area. This is a permanent, full-time position, paying a salary commensurate with experience, along with profit sharing, RRSP matching, and a competitive vacation and benefits package.
A day in the life:
You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver all types of geotechnical projects.
You will be responsible for the delivery of small to medium sized projects and assist in the delivery of large projects.
Manage geotechnical investigations including field coordination, subcontractors, budget and schedule.
Engineering design and assessment to various geotechnical systems including foundation design, slope stability, settlement analysis, etc.
Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals.
Prepare geotechnical reports and memorandums.
