Geotechnical Engineer

Webuild (webuildstaffing) is seeking a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to lead strategic civil infrastructure initiatives across the San Francisco Bay Area. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-level technical direction and manage multiple high-profile projects that influence the region’s-built environment.

Key Responsibilities
You will oversee the full project lifecycle for geotechnical projects including slope stability, rockfall mitigation, landslide remediation, dams, and retaining structures, with project scopes up to $10 million. Responsibilities include managing client relationships at an executive level, developing proposals, monitoring budgets and schedules, mentoring multidisciplinary teams, overseeing geotechnical design and review processes, and providing authoritative onsite guidance during construction to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
