German Speaking IT Support Specialist - Athens - Entry Level

Mercier Consultancy is seeking a German Speaking IT Support Specialist to join our Athens team. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to our clients, leveraging your language skills to communicate effectively with German-speaking customers. Your expertise will ensure that clients receive timely assistance with their IT issues, contributing to their overall satisfaction and productivity.

As an IT Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and systems, helping clients troubleshoot problems, set up new equipment, and navigate software challenges. We're looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong interpersonal skills to enhance our client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to German-speaking clients via phone, email, and chat
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide effective solutions
• Assist with the installation of software applications and hardware setups
• Document client interactions and track support requests in our ticketing system
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues as necessary
• Conduct training sessions for clients on new technologies and tools
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to better support clients

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal
• Proven experience in IT support or related technical field is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Familiarity with common software applications and IT hardware
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team environment
• Certification in ITIL, CompTIA, or similar is an advantage
