We are looking for a proactive and organized German-speaking Moderation Operations Coordinator to join our team in Barcelona . In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of our content moderation team, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in handling user-generated content. You will work closely with moderation leads, quality assurance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to help protect platform integrity and enhance the user experience.
This role offers flexibility through a hybrid work model —you can work both onsite and remotely , depending on business needs and your preferences.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and support the German-language content moderation team with their daily operational needs
- Monitor and report on key moderation metrics (quality, productivity, SLA adherence)
- Assist with team scheduling, task allocation, and performance tracking
- Identify operational challenges and collaborate on solutions to improve efficiency
- Ensure content moderation is performed in alignment with platform policies, community guidelines, and regional sensitivities
- Serve as a point of contact for internal queries related to the German moderation queue
- Support new hire onboarding, training initiatives, and best practice sharing across the team
- Conduct regular quality checks and flag any inconsistencies or deviations from moderation standards
- Assist with the development and rollout of updated policies, workflows, and tools
- Provide feedback and insights to improve moderation strategy and team engagement
- Fluent in German (spoken and written)
- 1–3 years of experience in content moderation , community operations , or trust & safety
- Previous experience in a coordination or operational support role is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Good understanding of online community standards, user safety, and content compliance
- Comfortable with data reporting, moderation tools, and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce, CMS tools)
- Ability to remain neutral and handle sensitive content with professionalism
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Full-time: 40 hours/week
Monday to Friday (rotating shifts or occasional weekend coverage may be required)
