Job Description
We are looking for experienced freelance translators to join our expanding translation team. In this role, you will work on a variety of technical content in the following two key subject areas:
Domain 1 (Source: Chinese):
- Automotive
- User Manuals
- User Operation (UO)
- User Experience (UX)
- Electronics
- Information Technology – Consumer Facing
- Information Technology – Software UI
- Manufacturing/Industrial – Consumer Facing Guidelines
- Manufacturing/Industrial – Specialist Facing Guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate and/or post-edit technical content from Chinese or English into German
- Ensure high-quality, accurate, and context-appropriate translations
- Meet an expected MTPE output of 600 words per hour
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical translation in one or more of the listed domains
