Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a GIS Analyst who will support a government contract in Ashburn, VA.
Responsibilities for the GIS Analyst:
Develop and manage GIS projects using Agile or similar methodologies, ensuring timely and effective delivery of project goals.Design, enhance, and maintain GIS web applications for internal and external partners, enabling data analysis and visualization.Create and maintain visualization projects to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the agency and its partners.Stay up to date with emerging web application tools and technologies, applying them to support data-centric decision-making processes.Manage and maintain the agency's GIS repository, including data import/export, quality control, and metadata creation.Ensure data integrity and security by adhering to organizational requirements and standards.Qualifications for the GIS Analyst:
