Job Description
We are looking for a GIS Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in building web-based GIS applications using open-source geospatial technologies. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying geospatial applications that support renewable energy site selection, infrastructure analysis, and decision-support workflows.
This is a remote, contract-based role to start , with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance, delivery quality, and long-term fit.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS applications using open-source platforms
Build interactive mapping interfaces for spatial analysis, visualization, and decision support
Implement geospatial workflows including buffering, overlays, suitability analysis, and parcel-level analysis
Work closely with energy analysts, data scientists, and AI engineers to translate business and analytical requirements into scalable GIS solutions
