Job Description

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering and database design to coding and deployment. You will bridge the gap between complex geographic science and user-friendly technology to help our organization make data-driven, location-based decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Build custom web, mobile, and desktop GIS applications using frameworks like ArcGIS API for JavaScript, OpenLayers, or Leaflet.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop Python scripts (ArcPy, PyQGIS) to automate repetitive spatial analysis tasks and data migration workflows.
  • Database Management: Design and maintain spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial, Oracle Spatial) to ensure data integrity and high performance.
  • System Integration: Integrate GIS functionality into non-spatial enterprise systems (e. g., ERP, CRM, or business intelligence tools).
