Description

We're looking for talented individuals with diverse backgrounds to join our team of digital map editors. The successful candidates will join our team of 22 digital map editors working on a very long running and expanding mapping project, to produce digital vector mapping from a variety of source materials, in order to create mapping deliverables in accordance with client requirements and specification. They will have a good knowledge of computer systems, be confident creating vector data using an imagery backdrop, and be able to interpret other sources of information such as, Maps, textual location descriptions and geospatial database information, to enrich our mapping products. Primary tasks to be undertaken include performing editing, data processing, topological checks, visual checks for completeness and final output utilising a variety of software packages, in particular StruMap (NEC) and ESRI ArcMap.
