AECOM is seeking a GIS Specialist with strong GIS–CAD expertise to support infrastructure and utility projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing spatial datasets, producing utility and topographic drawings, performing spatial analysis, and supporting GIS dashboard development for decision‑making and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

GIS & CAD Production

  • Create and manage spatial drawings using AutoCAD Map 3D, preparing utility, infrastructure, and topographic drawings as per project standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases in ArcGIS Pro and QGIS.
  • Produce maps, spatial datasets, and cartographic deliverables following established QA/QC protocols.

Spatial Analysis & Data Processing

  • Process and analyze satellite imagery and Digital Elevation Models (DEM) for terrain analysis and feature extraction.
  • Perform advanced spatial analysis, geoprocessing, data validation, and model‑based workflows.
  • Conduct raster/vector analysis and manage geospatial data in compliance with AECOM data standards. 

Dashboard Development & Visualization

  • Design, build, and maintain GIS dashboards for project monitoring, reporting, and interactive visualization using ArcGIS Dashboards or similar tools.
  • Prepare technical maps, visualizations, and reporting materials for stakeholders. 

Cross‑Discipline Coordination

  • Support multiple projects concurrently, coordinating with engineering, planning, and environmental teams.
  • Provide documentation, data lineage, metadata, and structured GIS outputs aligned with project requirements

 


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in GIS and CAD roles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Map 3D, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS.
  • Experience developing ArcGIS Dashboards.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or within multidisciplinary teams


Additional Information

  • Experience with Flood Mapping or hydrology‑related spatial analysis.
  • Exposure to GIS–CAD–BIM integration workflows for infrastructure delivery.
