Job Summary:
The GIS Trainee will assist in supporting and implementing GIS-related projects, data management, and spatial analysis. The role involves learning and gaining hands-on experience in GIS software, data collection, map design, and spatial data analysis while contributing to ongoing GIS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the collection, validation, and organization of spatial and non-spatial data.
- Perform data analysis using GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Support in creating and updating digital maps, layouts, and other geographic data visualizations.
- Assist in data entry, digitization, and conversion tasks.
- Perform basic spatial analysis and generate reports for internal or client use.
- Help manage and maintain GIS databases.
