As a GL Accountant, you'll play a key role in financial analysis and reporting for our Belgian and Dutch legal entity. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll drive month-end closures, ensure accurate reporting, and collaborate with the finance community to implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain General Ledger Accounts: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger collaborating closely with the AP and AR Shared Service Center.Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Fixed Asset Accounting: Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, ensure accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets in accordance with accounting standards and company policy.
