A typical day in this role *
The Record to Report (R2R) Accountant is responsible for executing and coordinating accounting activities related to the period-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity. This role ensures accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP, local statutory requirements (including Mexican GAAP when applicable), and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries
• Perform accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and adjustments
• Ensure timely and accurate financial close
• Maintain General Ledger accounts
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items
