Job Description

The GL Accountant will:

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax reporting.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Continuously improve processes and systems within the accounting function.

A successful GL Accountant should have:
