Job Description
The GL Accountant will:
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial records.
- Continuously improve processes and systems within the accounting function.
A successful GL Accountant should have:
