Job Summary

The General Accounting (“GA”) Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting accounting operations for CooperVision’s second largest global entities. Reporting to the CVI Japan Accounting Manager, this role oversees financial accounting & reporting and taxation. Key responsibilities include managing general ledger activities, tax filings and supporting the audit processes. This position requires strong expertise in US/JP GAAP, tax, and financial controllership, ensuring SOX compliance and robust financial controls. Additionally, the role requires robust skills and experience in project management, driving continuous improvements and operational efficiencies in accounting processes, including implementing tools and system enhancements.
