Global Greenfield Portfolio Management Director

We are seeking a senior Global Greenfield Portfolio Management Director to bring structure, investment discipline, and commercial rigor to a fast‑growing renewable energy development platform.

This role sits at the center of a global greenfield portfolio, ensuring early‑stage opportunities mature into bankable, investment‑ready projects, without slowing local entrepreneurial teams.

You will partner with global country‑specific teams, apply investment‑grade thinking (IRR, risk, capital efficiency), flag issues early, and help leadership focus capital on the highest‑value opportunities.

Main responsibilities

• Own oversight of the global greenfield development portfolio.
• Define development stages, milestones, and investment‑readiness criteria through pre‑FID.
• Apply investment‑grade thinking: IRR logic, sensitivities, capital efficiency, and prioritization.
• Identify risks early (permitting, schedule, costs, stakeholder issues) and drive timely mitigation.
• Coordinate country teams and central functions to support informed investment decisions.
• Support governance and asset management for selected joint venture investments.
• Provide clear, decision‑oriented portfolio insights to senior leadership.

Experience

• 10+ years in renewable energy or infrastructure, with strong greenfield development exposure.
• Strong grasp of project economics, value drivers, and development risk.
• Comfortable operating across countries, cultures, and time zones.
• Highly organized, credible, and constructive: an enabler, not a controller.
