Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop global security operations, manage security contractors and vendors, ensure readiness of security equipment and systems, and maintain compliance with global security and safety standards.
- Ensure effective process of security plans for terminals, ports, and transportation routes, including alignment with international maritime and logistics security frameworks.
- Lead all aspects of security incident investigations, analyze trends, identify and assess emerging threats, and ensure appropriate drills, reporting, and system checks are completed.
- Ensure strict compliance with security regulations, including customs, border control, maritime security, and OT data protection requirements.
- Regularly assess physical and technological security infrastructure, prioritize upgrades or maintenance, and minimize operational disruptions caused by security vulnerabilities.
- Maintain audit documentation to ensure operational efficiency and readiness.
- Develop, review, and implement global security procedures, performance measures, emergency response plans, and standard operating procedures. Ensure all staff understand and adhere to security protocols.
- Track and supervise regional progress metrics, reporting results to senior management.
- Provide training, mentoring and guidance for security teams globally.
- Lead global/regional security drills, crisis simulations, audits, inspections. Provide leadership during high-risk events or blocking issues.
- Develop and complete a comprehensive global security strategy aligned with company goals and emerging threat landscapes.
Collaborate with senior executives across Operations, HR, Legal, HSE, IT/OT, and Corporate Affairs to embed security into business processes.
