As HR Strategy, Transformation and Excellence (HRSTE) is an important global HR pillar for the coming years and aims to transform the HR operating model, governance and strategy approach; HRSTE ensures a state-of-the-art experience for, with and from HR. Therefore, the next step for Global HR will be to build a scalable global HR Transformation & Services team to ensure continuity, efficiency, and scalability.

The Strategic Planning, and Development Analyst contributes to the development and execution of HR’s strategic direction by driving structured planning processes, synthesizing insights, and ensuring alignment across HR functions. Translates strategy into actionable plans and supports leadership decision-making through data, analysis, and strategic frameworks. Facilitates cross-functional collaboration, tracks strategic initiatives, and ensures transparency and follow-through on priorities.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual and quarterly HR strategic planning cycles, including timelines, stakeholder engagement, and output consolidation.
  • Conduct internal and external analyses (e.g., trend scans, benchmarking, SWOT) to form informed HR’s strategic direction.
  • Translate strategic themes into clear objectives, initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
  • Support senior HR leaders in articulating priorities and developing strategic communication materials.
  • Monitor the execution of key strategic initiatives and prepare progress reports for leadership.
  • Facilitate strategic workshops or working sessions, including agenda setting and output documentation.
  • Ensure alignment of project portfolios and budgets with defined strategic goals.
  • Maintain strategic roadmaps, dashboards, and planning documentation for leadership visibility.
  • Act as a connector between strategy, planning, and operational execution within HR.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the strategic planning process and related tools/templates.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Master in Business Economics or comparable

Experience

  • +5 years professional experience


  • Strategic Frameworks: Confident use of OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, SWOT, PESTLE, etc.
  • Slide Writing & Storytelling: Ability to prepare executive-level decks that synthesize insights and decisions
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools to derive insights
  • Meeting Facilitation; Running strategy sessions or retrospectives with clear outcomes
  • Portfolio Mapping: Linking initiatives to strategic objectives in a structured, visual way
  • Tool Proficiency: MS Office (esp. Excel and PowerPoint), Miro/MURAL, Smartsheet or project tools, Confluence/SharePoint
