Role Overview

The International Student Recruitment Manager will be responsible for accelerating growth across assigned international markets by identifying, onboarding, managing, and scaling Recruitment Partners (RPs). Based in Gujarat, India, the role will work closely with domestic and global stakeholders to drive high-quality student enrolments into upGrad GSP’s Global Student Program (GSP).

This position requires strong relationship management skills, market intelligence, and a solid understanding of the international education recruitment ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities -


1. Recruitment Partner Identification & Onboarding

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Recruitment Partners, including education consultants and channel partners.
  • Conduct partner due diligence, reference checks, and documentation validation.
  • Ensure partners meet quality, compliance, and ethical recruitment standards.
  • Build a scalable, compliant, and performance-driven partner ecosystem.

2. Relationship Management & Partner Engagement

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing Recruitment Partners to ensure sustained recruitment performance.
  • Conduct regular partner reviews, engagement meetings, and performance discussions.
  • Deliver partner training on programs, admission processes, compliance requirements, and internal systems.
  • Monitor partner-led marketing initiatives and student recruitment pipelines.

3. Partner Support & Student Counselling Assistance

  • Support Recruitment Partners with counselling guidance, eligibility checks, and application quality reviews.
  • Ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant information is shared with prospective students.
  • Coordinate closely with Admissions, Compliance, and Operations teams to enable smooth and timely application processing.
  • Act as a point of escalation for partner and application-related issues.

4. Market Intelligence & Product Positioning

  • Track market trends, policy updates, visa regulations, and competitor activity across assigned international markets.
  • Strengthen program, institution, and service positioning with Recruitment Partners.
  • Provide actionable insights to internal teams to improve partner productivity and enrolment quality.
  • Support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding market reach and improving conversion outcomes.


Overall Role Objective

The International Student Recruitment Manager will play a critical role in strengthening and expanding the Recruitment Partner network, driving partner success, and delivering high-quality student enrolments into upGrad GSP’s Global Student Program. The role demands proactive partner engagement, strong execution discipline, and consistent collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of experience in international student recruitment, overseas education, or B2B education partnerships.
  • Proven experience managing Recruitment Partners or education agent networks.
  • Strong understanding of international admissions processes, compliance requirements, and visa regulations.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory.
  • Postgraduate qualification or MBA preferred.
