**The Impact You'll Make**



As our **Global Supply Chain Manager** , you’ll play a critical role in shaping how materials flow across regions, ensuring that customer demand, production capability, and supplier performance are fully aligned. You will lead the global strategy for demand planning, supply planning, and strategic procurement, ensuring that materials arrive where they are needed, when they are needed, and at the right cost.



You will be part of **Danfoss Power Solutions** , a global leader in mobile and industrial hydraulics, fluid conveyance, electrification, and digital solutions, serving industries such as construction, agriculture, and material handling.



Your leadership will accelerate Danfoss’ **local‑to‑local sourcing strategy** , expand regional supplier bases, and enhance global supply continuity in support of sustainable growth. A key responsibility includes close collaboration with production site Supply Chain Managers for purchasing and production planning support, and with Order Fulfillment Representatives (OFRs) to manage and resolve customer escalations, particularly those related to material shortages and delivery risks.



**_This position is open to candidates based in France or other European countries, and hybrid working may be an option depending on business needs._**



**What You’ll Be Doing**



+ Manage and guide a global team of four people in the Americas and Asia, responsible for demand planning, supply planning, and strategic purchasing.

+ Develop and execute global materials and sourcing strategies supporting cost, delivery, and sustainability goals.

+ Collaborate with production site Supply Chain Managers to support purchasing planning and production planning.

+ Direct demand and supply planning to ensure accurate forecasting, balanced inventories, and reliable capacity alignment.

+ Expand the qualified supplier base and drive local-to-local sourcing, increasing regional volume and responsiveness.

+ Negotiate contracts and manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure cost, quality, and delivery performance.

+ Partner with OFRs to manage and resolve customer escalations for shortages, delivery delays, and supply constraints.

+ Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring shortage issues.

+ Use ERP and analytics tools (SAP, Power BI) to improve materials visibility, planning accuracy, and performance management.

+ Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement across planning and procurement processes.



**What We're Looking For**



+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (Master’s preferred).

+ 8–10+ years of experience in global materials management, planning, or procurement.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage customer escalations involving shortages, delivery risks, and supply disruptions.

+ Proven success supporting production sites in purchasing coordination and production planning.

+ Strong global leadership, negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

+ Proficiency with ERP/planning tools such as SAP.

+ Preferred certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, ISM CPSM.

+ Fluent in English and the local language of the country.

+ Ability to travel.
