Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Professional with expertise in Materials Management Planning , Inventory Optimization , and Financial Impact Assessment to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information within our supply chain to meet production demands, minimize costs, and optimize inventory performance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, financial acumen, and a proven track record in managing materials and inventory in a high-tech manufacturing or electronics environment.
Responsibilities
1.) Monitor the end-to-end materials planning process to ensure the timely availability of materials while minimizing excess inventory.
2.) Execute materials planning strategies that balance demand forecasts, lead times, and inventory levels.
3.) Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure material availability, quality, and cost efficiency.
4.) Implement inventory management strategies to achieve optimal inventory levels (e.g., Just-in-Time (JIT), Economic Order Quantities (EOQ), ABC analysis).
5.) Continuously monitor inventory performance (turns, days on hand, obsolescence) and take corrective actions when necessary to reduce carrying costs and improve cash flow.
6.) Utilize data and analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, increasing service levels, and optimizing operational efficiency.
7.) Monitor regular reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
8.) Assess the financial impact of materials management decisions, including inventory carrying costs, supplier costs, and logistics expenses.
9.) Understand and evaluate the implications of standard cost revisions on inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and financial reporting.
10.) Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to material shortages, supply disruptions, and lead time variability.
11.) Stay up to date with industry best practices, new technologies, and innovations that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the materials management and inventory optimization processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications preferred
