Join a global leader in sustainable energy solutions and take charge of ensuring supplier quality excellence across our worldwide supply chain. As Global Supply Chain Quality Manager (m|f|d), you will lead international teams, drive supplier development, and embed quality standards into every process from sourcing strategies to final inspections.

Your Tasks

  • Lead global and regional quality teams while aligning strategies with Voith Hydro’s renewable energy objectives.

  • Qualify and release suppliers through audits, monitor certifications, and ensure compliance with company requirements.

  • Drive preventive quality measures and follow up on supplier development activities such as PFMEAs.

  • Manage supplier performance using KPIs, initiate corrective actions, and decide on blocking or releasing suppliers based on defined criteria.

  • Plan and coordinate inspections and FATs at supplier facilities, reporting results to project quality teams.

  • Support cost optimization initiatives (OPEX, Lean) and integrate quality requirements into sourcing strategies and schedules.

  • Participate in key supplier meetings (e.g., KoM), provide quality input, and conduct process audits and data-driven verifications.

  • Capture lessons learned and implement improvements in the management system.
  • Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • At least 7 years of professional experience in supplier quality management, ideally within renewable energy or industrial sectors.

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing international teams and complex projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, supplier audits, and lean methodologies, with the ability to apply these across global supply chains.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and intercultural skills to effectively engage with stakeholders worldwide.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel internationally and thrive in a dynamic, global business environment.
