JOB DESCRIPTION

The Global Technical Operations Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of SEI’s global production technology ecosystem. This position oversees 24x7x365 operational coverage across multiple teams, ensuring seamless execution of production processes, rapid response to incidents, structured problem resolution, and adherence to client and internal SLAs.

What you will do:

Operational Leadership

  • Lead global technical operations teams providing 7x24x365 support.
  • Ensure system availability, stability, and resilience across production environments.
  • Incident & Problem Management

  • Oversee major incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Lead structured problem management practices.
  • SLA, Quality & Reporting

  • Own SLA compliance for critical production processes.
  • Produce SLA reports and operational dashboards.
  • Tools, Automation & Governance

  • Leverage ServiceNow, PagerDuty, job schedulers, and monitoring platforms.
  • Champion automation and standardization.
  • Business & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate technical issues in business terms.
  • Partner across engineering, development, product, and service delivery.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing global operations team.

  • What we need from you:
    • Minimum 10 years in production technology operations in financial services.
    • Expertise in distributed middleware, Oracle database, batch scheduling, monitoring.
    • Experience with ServiceNow and PagerDuty.
    • Strong incident/problem management capability.
    • Ability to articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
