Job Description
Lead the RFP process, including preparation of RFP and the associated Technical Annexures Employer Requirement, Head of Terms and evaluation of technical and commercial proposals.Lead the Contract drafting/Review process and negotiation of contract/agreement terms, with a particular emphasis on the negotiation of EPC, OM Contracts and Supplier Framework Agreements.Assemble and distribute the appropriate Contract annexures (Legal/Technical/Commercial) to internal departments and external third parties. Solicit, compile, and evaluate comments for resolution with external and internal stakeholdersReview and manage EPC Contractor, schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance.Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms and delivery of contractual deliverables in accordance with the project budget and schedule.Maintain company standard template agreements, including, but not limited to, NDAs, EPC, OM, Framework Agreement.Maintain contract spreadsheets, databases, or other tracking software (SharePoint and specified Project Management Tools), as applicable, to effectively track and file contracts.Facilitate the Kick-Off Process, to ensure takeover of the executed contracts by ProjectManagement and Construction Team. Evaluate and recommend changes in existing processesto improve the efficient operation of the contract management.Attend and lead the periodic status meetings with the various stakeholders, documentdiscussions and outcomes and update the tracking database as necessary.The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering accredited college or university.Master's degree/MBA will be an advantage.Additional contract and commercial certifications would be advantageous.Minimum 12-16 years Tendering/RFP/commercial experience required across the sector, while at least 4-6 years of experience should be in renewable energyExperience working for an EPC/IPP/Project developersUnderstanding of International contract guidelines like FIDIC, norms and practices in the renewable power sector, preferably in developed countries/regions (, EU, NA, AUS).Attention to detail, research and exceptional organizational and proofreading skills.Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability.Independent, self-starter, team-oriented and confident in his or her abilities.A team-player with ability to deal with multiple stake holders and cross functional teams.Good communication skills - written, oral and presentation.Time management, highly analytical, execution mindset and attention to detailSoftware Skills: Expertise in MS Office product including PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook etc.
