    Job Description

    Reporting to the Executive Leadership, you will:

  • Lead the R&D function for coating technologies, including development of emulsions, dispersing agents, and thickeners
  • Oversee end-to-end formulation, testing, and application development for new coating products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Production, and QA to bring innovations from lab to market
  • Evaluate and qualify raw materials, suppliers, and sourcing alternatives for quality and cost optimization
  • Ensure adherence to global regulatory standards including REACH, RoHS, and VOC norms
  • Support customer trials, field application, and commercial product launches through technical engagement
  • Manage budgets, project timelines, and team development, ensuring timely and successful product delivery

    • The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a in Chemistry with a specialization in polymers, coatings, or materials science
  • Brings 15+ years of experience in R&D within the coatings or specialty chemicals sector
  • Has deep knowledge of emulsion polymerization, additives, and coating system behavior
  • Is well-versed in ASTM, ISO standards, and testing protocols for paint and coatings performance
  • Demonstrates strong project management, innovation mindset, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
  • Experience with customer-centric product development and scaling from lab to plant is highly preferred
