Goldroom Technician

Barto Gold is a privately owned Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer operating since 2009. Focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia, our flagship Marvel Loch project operates multiple open pits and underground mines servicing a 2.1Mt per annum processing facility. Supported by a tenement holding of over 1,400 km² in the Southern Cross Greenstone Belt, we are strategically positioned for continued growth.

We are seeking experienced Gold Room Technician to join our processing operations at our gold mine. This is a great time to join the Barto Gold Processing Department as our business progresses into 2026 and beyond, this growth is expected to create new roles and career progression opportunities for high‑performing team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gold room equipment including furnaces, electrowinning cells, and bullion handling systems
• Ensure accurate sampling, documentation, and gold accounting procedures
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, security, and environmental standards
• Housekeeping and upkeep of the gold room and associated equipment
• Work closely with processing and metallurgical teams to optimise recovery

About You

• Previous experience in a gold room or similar precious metals environment
• Strong understanding of gold room safety, security, and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail and strong record‑keeping skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to pass pre‑employment medical and police check

What you’ll need to succeed

• Gold room, Gravity and elution circuit experience
• Strong safety and security focus
• Current Driver's License
• The ability to pass a pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol screening
• Clean NPC result
