About the Role

The Golf Course Mechanicis responsible forensuring all golf course maintenance equipmentoperatessafely, efficiently, and reliably. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily equipment preparation to supportoptimalcourse conditions and smooth department operations.

What You Will Do

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, and small-engine equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance including reel grinding, blade sharpening, lubrication, and fluid changes.

Maintain cutting units to ensureaccuratereel andbedknifeadjustments.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.

Track parts, supplies, and fuel andassistwith inventory needs.

Keepaccuratemaintenance logs and service records.

Support operator training on safe equipmentuse.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop.

Respond to breakdowns and prepare equipment for daily operations.

What You Bring

Previousexperience as a mechanic; golf or turf equipment experience preferred.

Knowledge of reels, hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read service manuals and schematics.

Computerproficiencyfor maintenance documentation.

Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, andspecial events.
