Established in 2020, MUFG Global Service Private Limited (MGS) is 100% subsidiary of MUFG having offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. MGS India has been set up as a Global Capability Centre / Centre of Excellence to provide support services across various functions such as IT, KYC/ AML, Credit, Operations etc. to MUFG Bank offices globally. MGS India has plans to significantly ramp-up its growth over the next 18-24 months while servicing MUFG’s global network across Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific

**Job Summary:**



We are seeking a seasoned Techno-Functional specialist for Finastra Global PAYplus (GPPSP) who can effectively bridges business and technology. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of functional expertise in payments and technical proficiency in GPP, enabling then to drive product configuration, deliver enhancements, and ensure the resilient, secure, and reliable operation of our global Payment hub.



This role requires deep payments domain knowledge, proven hands-on experience with GPP product developments and support, and strong stakeholder managements skills to collaborate seamlessly with business users, technology partners, and global vendor/product teams.



The successful candidate will be part of a growing and dynamic regional team based in Bengaluru, India, responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining MUFG application based on Finastra Global PAYplus product for multiple MUFG offices worldwide.



**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Maintain and enhance the bank’s Global Payments Hub built on Finastra Fusion Global PAYplus, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance with business requirements.

+ Perform system impact analysis, solution design, and business configuration development, ensuring all changes align with payment flows, regulatory standards, and operational controls.

+ Perform impact assessment on existing processes/functions based on new requirements/changes.

+ Perform traces analysis to identify issues, determine root causes and provide clear findings and recommendations for resolution.

+ Execute unit testing, support integration and user acceptance testing, and provide implementation support for product upgrades, version migrations, and core package/patch installations.

+ Prepare and maintain comprehensive SDLC artefacts including functional/technical specifications, interface layouts, process flow diagrams, and user manuals.

+ Provide environment management and support across production and non-production (test, SIT, UAT) landscapes, ensuring stability and readiness for change deployments.

+ Deliver BAU (Business-as-Usual) support for global branches, including incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, quality assurance, and timely resolution of user queries.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, infrastructure, and vendor partners to deliver solutions, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.



**Required Skills & Experience**



To be successful in this Role, you should meet the following requirements.



+ 8–12 years overall IT/Banking tech experience; min. 6 years in payments domain.

+ 3+ years hands-on experience on GPP-SP (Preferred) or GPP Classic Finastra Product Processor.

+ Hands on experience with GPP Rule configuration in Validation, Bank Routing, Value Date Determination, Fees, Mapping Out, Debit/Credit Chain processing modules.

+ SQL knowledge to query data base and familiarity with Oracle DB concepts and GPP Fusion database structure.

+ Strong expertise in payment schemes & standards: SWIFT MT, ISO20022, TARGET2/EURO1/CHAPS/RTGS/instant payments.

+ Strong SDLC experience: design docs, testing (unit/SIT/UAT), release management.

+ Proven in system upgrades (V-up) and high-availability banking environments.



**Preferred Skills/Experience:**



+ Finastra certification (FCE, FCI, FCA)

+ Technical foundation: Linux, shell scripting, Oracle SQL, logs/debugging.

+ Knowledge of GPP Delivery module and latest Fusion GPP versions.

+ Exposure to DevOps, cloud deployments, APIs/middleware.

+ Experience in large global bank environments.

+ Prior MUFG Experience in Payments area.
