Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent, with Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification (or relevant provincial/territorial certification). Familiarity with provincial curriculum and Indigenous curriculum resources (e.g., The Ontario FNMI Curriculum, First Nations Holistic Learning Model, etc.). A dynamic, student-centered educator who brings energy and creativity to the classroom. A strong commitment to culturally relevant and responsive teaching practices. An understanding of the unique strengths and challenges of Indigenous learners. Willingness to participate in community events and school initiatives beyond the classroom.
