Job Description

Our Cambridge based client is currently searching for a GaN Reliability Engineer to be responsible for all reliability aspects of new devices and ICs. The role will involve designing the reliability experiments as was as developing and analysing reliability models. An important part of the role will be to develop new electrical reliability tests in collaboration with TCAD and simulation engineers. This role can also suit a BSc/MSc level graduate who is keen to enter into the reliability world.

Required skills for the Reliability Engineer will include:

  • Knowledge of power semiconductor device reliability, preferably GaN
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods for data analysis and software such as JMP, Minitab or Python
  • Experience with semiconductor failure analysis
  • Good communication skills
  • A degree in a relevant engineering or science subject
