Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Under supervision, provides the care and maintenance of the golf course, landscape beds, trees and shrubs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, edgers, and chainsaws
  • Ability to stand and walk for multiple hours throughout the day, working in all

    •  weather

  • Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers and keeps a clean landscape bed
  • Prunes and trims trees and shrubs
  • Assists in construction of new greens, tees, fairways and bunkers by grading, 

    •  preparing soil and planting

  • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
  • Attends staff meetings
  • Participates in other related tasks as needed
