With over 3 GW of renewable projects (solar/BESS) built, we currently operate in 12 countries and have a development pipeline of 12 GW of solar and 14 GW of BESS capacity.- Reporting to the Engineering and Construction Director (Europe) and based in **Madrid**, we are looking for a **Grid Connection** Engineer** responsible for managing all stages of HV grid connection design of renewable projects.**What**will**you** do?**Supervision and optimization of conceptual/schematic/detailed design of HV grid connection design, including calculations, technical specifications and drawings for PV and BESS projects.-Quantity Survey and budgeting of designs to produce the design BOQ.-Manage and communicate engineering/technical input to site evaluation and characterization-Represent X-ELIO in meetings, negotiation with clients, suppliers, consultants, utilities and regulatory authorities.-Represent X-ELIO as a technical referent for DNOs as well as TSOs.**What** do**we**need**?**BEng, with focus on Electrical engineering.-A master’s degree in Photovoltaic, Renewable Energy or similar would be considered a plus.-Experience in the conceptual design of MV/HV electromechanical design of substation and UG/OH lines: five years.-Knowledge of HV Interconnection design in accordance with TSO and DSO standards-Languages: English, Spanish.
