Job Description
**Amentum** is seeking a **Grounds Maintenance/Groundskeeper** to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. **This position is reserved for Bahamian citizens only. Must be a citizen of the Bahamas.**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Maintain a variety of facilities including athletic fields, industrial areas, schools, residential areas, beaches, parks and common areas.
+ Use a variety of tools and other equipment that may be introduced into the workplace.
+ Reports directly to the Roads & Grounds Manager.
+ Cuts lawns using hand mowers, power mowers or riding mowers.
+ Trims and edges around walks, flower beds and walls using clippers, weed cutters and edging tools.
+ Prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth.
+ Removes damaged leaves, branches and twigs using shears, pruners or chain saws.
+ Cleans grounds and removes litter and debris using rake, pitchfork ...
