Detailed Overview

Performs electrical, plumbing and carpentry repair and maintenance duties. Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings and equipment. Performs groundskeeping duties, as required. Responsibilities Performs electrical repair and maintenance duties such as installing and replacing ballasts, receptacles and switches/circuits, replacing electric light bulbs/fluorescent tubes, switches, plugs and extension cords. Cleans and lubricates motors. Identifies nature of equipment problems; performs preventative maintenance on equipment such as wheelchairs, beds, stretchers, carts and engines by cleaning, greasing, lubricating and replacing broken or worn parts such as castors, filters and hydraulic cylinders; performs mechanical repair and preventative maintenance such as cleaning, oiling/greasing and replacing parts on motors; performs preventative maintenance to washers, dryers and ice machines, including cleaning, oiling/greasing and replacin...
